Invited Faculty - Sarah White

Sarah White is an Adjunct Research Investigator with the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan. She received her PhD in Medicine (Epidemiology), from the University of Sydney, Australia, for research on the burden and determinants of chronic kidney disease in the Australian population, and pathways to improved access to dialysis and transplantation for those with end-stage kidney failure. Dr White has co-authored local and international policy reports concerning the key requirements for sustainable and equitable delivery of dialysis and transplant services, and is currently the recipient of an Australian Government Fellowship to pursue international research into epidemiological trends in organ donation and transplantation, and is based at the University of Michigan’s Kidney Epidemiology and Cost Centre.
